Master's Degree course in Biology provides highly specialized knowledge and skills applied to the genetic-molecular, cellular and functional studies of living beings, as well as to the pharmacological approach, environmental impact and biodiversity. The degree gives access to advanced level of training such as PhDs to undertake scientific research in universities or in public or private research laboratories. Furthermore, the degree gives also access to postgraduate schools in biomedical field recognized by the Ministry of Health (necessary for a managerial career in public and private laboratories). The course provides requirements and methodological-theoretical training necessary to work in several industrial fields, such as biotechnologies, pharmaceutics, agro/food, and in the public/private healthcare system involved in genetics, histology, food and clinical biochemistry analysis.
